STANDARDS

Building with Nature green infrastructure Standards define what ‘good looks like’

The UK’s first green infrastructure (GI) benchmark for the UK built-environment sector is a simple, easy-to-use framework that’s free to download.

The 12 Building with Nature (BwN) Standards are built around the themes of Core, Wellbeing, Water, and Wildlife.

We help place makers design and deliver high-quality GI, and policy makers in clearly defining requirements for GI in policy documents.

Accreditation

A Building with Nature Award verifies that BwN green infrastructure Standards have been meet

Projects and policy across the UK are being assessed using Building with Nature Standards and achieving independent recognition via a BwN Award.

From small, community-led green infrastructure projects like Queensland Court and Gardens, Glasgow, to new garden villages, like Langarth in Cornwall.

Contact a Building with Nature Approved Assessor to discuss how a BwN Assessment and Award application could benefit your project or policy.
