Course pre-requisites

As Building with Nature is a qualitative suite of Standards focused on green infrastructure, candidates wishing to qualify as an Assessor and get the most from the course should be comfortable with and have an ability to make professional ‘expert’ judgements on the basis of reviewing technical documents and design plans/masterplans. We therefore recommend prospective candidates hold, or are working towards full or chartered membership of one or more of the following bodies:

  • Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management

  • Landscape Institute

  • Royal Town Planning Institute

If you do not hold a chartered membership, you can join the training and following the qualification route providing you have relevant industry experience that gives you a strong grounding in green infrastructure.
